Chronic Fatigue Treatment

Chronic Fatigue treatment generally consists of a number of remedies working in concert with one another. Standard drugs are often prescribed by doctors, such as antidepressants, antiviral drugs, drugs to combat yeast infections, and drugs to reduce pain & fever. Mild physical exercise can also help. With proper treatment, a sufferer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome can often completely recover in as little as six months.

Many of the remedies listed above are also helpful as Fibromyalgia treatments. Of course, antiviral/antifever drugs would not typically have any effect on Fibromyalgia symptoms. Exercise and antidepressants, however, can be used in a course of treatment for someone with either or both syndromes. Unfortunately, unlike Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia does not have a prognosis of complete recovery. But with the proper information, Fibromyalgia can be managed to the point where it no longer interferes with daily life.
