Chiropractic Treatment

Chiropractic treatment has been in use since the late nineteenth century, when the tradition was founded by Daniel David Palmer. His belief was that most disorders result from a poor alignment of the spine and could be corrected by skillful manual manipulation (“chiropractic” comes from the Greek for “done by hand”). Because modern chiropractic treatment has evolved to incorporate mind, body, and spirit, it is an ideal approach to treating the multifaceted symptoms of Fibromyalgia Syndrome. Fibromyalgia can be rather slow to respond, however, so it is usually best to try regular chiropractic treatment for at least three to four weeks before deciding if its effects are beneficial.

Fibromyalgia Information

Reliable and timely Fibromyalgia information is often hard to find. What is Fibromyalgia? Who gets Fibromyalgia? How does one arrive at a Fibromyalgia diagnosis? Sometimes your doctor won’t be able to answer your questions for you. There are no specialists in this disorder, so doctors don’t always have access to the latest research. Furthermore, many Fibromyalgia information sources confuse the disorder with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, a disease associated with similar symptoms.
